Our beautiful latticed and fretworked cottages set in 2 acres of tropical woodlands above Scarborough, sleep up to 10 people, in five bedrooms, and three shower rooms, two of which are ensuite. The woodlands surrounding the cottages are made up of fruit trees, giant mahoganies, and other hardwoods. These, and the reliable breeze, make the cottages and the land itself shady and cool.

Attached to three bedrooms are balconies where you can enjoy the wildlife with your morning beverage or the stars in the clear sky with your evening aperitif. Our open living and dining areas are close to the cottages. They are set inside the forest itself and are frequented by a whole variety of birds who come for food and drink especially at breakfast time.

Our beautiful mosaic pool was designed and built by previous owners Mark & Zena Puddy to reflect the work of Rousseau and Gaudi. Our bathrooms also feature lovely mosaics depicting tropical animals. The entire house is built in the style of traditional wooden houses in old Tobago. Making it unique as a guest house.

This is not only a 'home away from home' but also a very beautiful, unique holiday experience where the beaches are only five to ten minutes away and the walks through the woodland provide the other side of life in lovely Tobago.

Crabwood is a small to medium tree with an erect trunk and narrow crown. Trunks to 6-8 inches in diameter. Bark grey to dark reddish-brown, outer bark flaking to expose light brown inner bark. Leaves tropical semi-deciduous, dark green, about 2-4 inches long.

Hog plum is a deciduous tree reaching 15–22 metres (49–72 feet) in height. The bark is deeply fissured. The plant typically drops most of its compound leaves before flowering. The drupe fruits are about 4 cm (1.6 inches) in length and have a leathery yellow-green skin.
